About Easy Little Meals
Hi, I'm Sanjana — the mom, cook, and very tired taste-tester behind Easy Little Meals. 🧡
This whole thing started in my own kitchen, somewhere between a half-eaten bowl of oats on the floor and a toddler who decided, overnight, that yesterday's favourite food was now completely unacceptable. If you know, you know. 😅
Why I started this
When I began feeding my own little one, I went looking everywhere for simple, honest guidance — not complicated recipes with fifteen ingredients, but real ideas a tired parent could actually pull off on a weekday morning. I wanted food that was nourishing without being scary, and advice that respected the fact that every baby is wonderfully different.
That blog didn't quite exist the way I needed it to, so I built it. Every recipe you see here is one I genuinely make at home, for my own family.
What you'll find here
Each post is a proper guide — not just a single recipe, but a full look at a meal type, age stage, or feeding hurdle we've actually been through. You'll find:
- Stage-based purees — from smooth first purees at 4–6 months to chunkier combinations as your baby grows
- Baby-led weaning (BLW) — safe finger foods, textures, and practical guidance
- Indian baby & toddler food — khichdi, ragi porridge, idli, dal, and the foods I grew up on, adapted for little ones
- Toddler meals — family-friendly recipes for 1–4 year olds, including plenty of picky-eater survival tips
My little promise to you
Every recipe on this site has been tested in my real kitchen, on a real child with very real opinions about food. I'm a parent, not a doctor — so when it comes to nutrition, I lean on trusted sources like the American Academy of Pediatrics, the WHO, the UK's NHS, and here in India the Indian Academy of Pediatrics and ICMR–National Institute of Nutrition. And I'll always nudge you to check with your own pediatrician for anything specific to your child.
Let's stay in touch
