Mini Veggie Idli Bites

Soft, light mini idlis with hidden vegetables — perfect for tiny hands on warm afternoons

Ingredients

  • 1 cup idli batter
  • 2 tbsp finely grated carrot
  • 1 tbsp finely grated beetroot
  • 1 tbsp finely chopped spinach
  • 1/2 tsp oil

Instructions

    Make veggie batter

    Mix all grated vegetables into the idli batter with a little oil.

    Steam

    Pour into mini idli moulds. Steam for 12-15 minutes until cooked through.

    Serve

    Cool slightly and remove from moulds. Serve with a little ghee or mild coconut chutney.
