Ingredients
- 1/4 cup yellow moong dal, washed
- 1/4 cup rice
- 1 tsp ghee
- Pinch of turmeric
- 2 cups water
- Small piece of carrot or peas (optional)

Pressure cook
Combine moong dal, rice, turmeric, and water in a pressure cooker. Cook for 3-4 whistles until very soft.

Finish with ghee
Add ghee and mash gently. Keep the consistency soft and soupy. Add tiny veggies if using.

Serve warm. Keep it easy to swallow — extra water can be added to thin it down.
