Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp ragi flour
  • 1 cup water or milk
  • 1 tsp ghee
  • Pinch of cardamom (optional)
  • 1 tsp jaggery or mashed dates for sweetness (optional)

Instructions

    Make ragi paste

    Mix ragi flour with little water to form smooth paste without lumps.

    Cook porridge

    Boil remaining water, add ragi paste while stirring. Cook for 10-12 minutes until thick.

    Add ghee and serve

    Add ghee and sweetener if using. Serve warm.
