Ingredients
- 1/2 cup rice
- 1/4 cup moong dal or masoor dal
- 1 cup water for dal
- 1 tsp ghee
- Pinch of turmeric
- Salt to taste (minimal)
- Optional: 1 tbsp mixed vegetables
Instructions

Cook dal
Pressure cook dal with turmeric until very soft and mushy.

Cook rice
Cook rice separately until soft and fluffy.

Combine and serve
Serve rice with dal, mixed with ghee. Add cooked vegetables if desired.
