Ingredients
- 1/2 cup dalia (broken wheat)
- 1 cup water or vegetable stock
- 2 tbsp mixed vegetables (carrot, peas, bottle gourd) - finely chopped
- 1 tsp ghee
- 1/4 tsp cumin seeds
- Pinch of turmeric
- Salt to taste (minimal)
Instructions

Roast dalia
Dry roast dalia in a pan for 2-3 minutes until fragrant. Set aside.

Cook vegetables
Heat ghee, add cumin seeds. Add vegetables and cook until soft.

Add dalia and water
Add roasted dalia and water/stock. Cook until soft and well-combined, about 15-20 minutes.
