Ingredients
- 1/4 cup suji (semolina)
- 1 cup water
- 2 tbsp finely chopped vegetables (carrot, peas)
- 1/2 tsp oil or ghee
- 1/4 tsp mustard seeds
- Pinch of turmeric
- Salt to taste (minimal)
Instructions

Roast suji
Dry roast suji for 2-3 minutes until aromatic. Set aside.

Cook vegetables
Heat oil, add mustard seeds. Add vegetables and cook until tender.

Prepare upma
Add roasted suji and slowly add water while stirring. Cook until thick and soft.
