Ingredients
- 1/2 cup besan (gram flour)
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/4 tsp eno or baking soda
- 1/2 tsp ginger paste
- Salt to taste (minimal)
- 1 tsp oil

Mix besan with water, ginger paste, salt, and oil to form smooth batter.

Add eno just before steaming and mix gently.

Steam dhokla
Steam in greased plate for 15-20 minutes until spongy.
