Ingredients
- 1/4 cup rice
- 2 tbsp moong dal
- 2 tbsp mixed vegetables (carrot, peas, bottle gourd, spinach)
- 1 tsp ghee
- Pinch of turmeric
- 1/4 tsp cumin seeds
- Salt to taste (minimal)
- Fresh curd for serving
Instructions

Wash and combine
Wash rice and dal together. Chop vegetables finely.

Cook khichdi
Cook rice, dal, and vegetables with turmeric and extra water until very soft and mushy.

Add tempering
Heat ghee, add cumin seeds and pour over cooked khichdi.

Serve with curd
Serve warm with a side of fresh curd.
